For years now there have been reports of these cats roaming round the countryside, some people believe they exist some don't believe. As for myself I'm a firm believer in them, I have joined some websites to read up on the sightings and have even had a sighting myself. There seems to be a lot of activity now and more sightings being reported all the time, the evidence is proving more harder to get even though sightings are going up. I believe that as time is going on the Big Cats are getting used to our habits and altering their own to compensate, hence the problem getting solid eveidence.
I have spent many hours in the daylight and early evenings looking for signs and just trailing the wild deer that lived in our local forest hoping to see the cat take one for a meal. I've also spent time looking from vantage points too, just incase I can get a good picture/video of a Big Cat. Due to major changes in my life I have been unable for the last year to get out and about trying to gather more evidence of the Big Cats that are roaming are country side.
Use the link below to find out my own experiences with Big Cats and how I started believing in them.
I've been trying to get back into looking for signs/evidence but so far my lifestyle is prohibiting me from looking. Hopefully once I'm over my illness I'll be able to go back to looking for evidence.
I am to find a group of like minded people that would get together to go looking for the wild cats to gain more evidence of the existence but as yet I've not found a group. As it was also suggested to me that if too many people went looking for them they could be scared off from feeding in one area to often, or worst some people could actually hunt these animals thinking to steal some fame from being the first person to kill one and prove there existence.
As for myself and this hopefully goes for the true Big Cat Enthusiasts, I just want to get photographic evidence and maybe the bones/carcass of a big cat that died under natural causes.
As for me, personally I will still keep an eye out for the elusive Big Cat as sooner or later it will show itself and as I get back to my old routine in this area I'll hopefully come across more information and sightings again. There has been many sightings so far in 2010 in the local area and I have very high hopes that there might be more then one Big Cat here and that they are having to go further afield to find food.
If anyone else is interested in joining myself or just fancy's a chat about their sightings then please join my forum as I have started a section that relates to Big Cat sightings and would love it if more people who are interested in them would join.
If there is any sensible people in the Staffordshire area that are looking at starting or have a group actively looking for evidence of Big Cat sightings, then please get in touch!
