Just returned from break in scotland - had lovely weather and sunshine. Did some walking along the beach - fantastic.

I'm happy enough and I'm afraid i won't give up my scones, jam and cream when we come down in May. Hope we lucky with weather - still plenty to do and loads of walking. That should counter balance my eating !!

A smile hides a multitude of things. Smile even when you're not feeling like it, people will never know you are feeling down ;-)and you are bound to brighten at least one person's day if you smile at them! Keep your loved ones close, keep your enemies even closer - don't get mad, get even, it's so much more fun, and they never know when you are going to strike

My hubby and I like Torquay because it is quite hilly so when you go up it's tiring but coming down is nice and easy. And the funny thing is there is a great chinese buffet restaurant
at the top of a hill (a very good incentive to climb!!) - you have your fill and then it's downhill all the way. There's me talking about food again but it's one of lifes pleasures when you are a pensioner so as long as I keep smiling that's all that matters and I do seriously watch my intake.

Most times I don't feel like a pensioner though, does anyone else? I even moan about the 'oldies' podging the queue!!! They are the worst offenders. God bless them all,
